|
Put the vehicle on a workshop hoist and remove the tires. |
|
|
02 |
|
Loose the lower screwing of the axle leg and the coupling bar. Open the clamp at the axle leg with special tools and pull out the front axle strut. |

|
Loosen the top mount from the strut. |
|
|
|
04 |
|
Mount the original top mounts on the ap coilover strut. |
|
|
05 |
|
Assemble the ap front axle strut, screw it on the top end with the hexagon nut, afterwards put the ap coilover strut in the axle leg and screw it also. |

|
Adjust the height according to the supplied ap TÜV certificate. |
|

|
Loose the upper and lower screwing of the rear axle dampers and remove the damper. It is important to check the original bump stop as this one will also be used with the ap damper. If the bump stop is damaged, please replace it by a new one. They are available at every VW / Audi authorized workshop. |

Unscrew the bearing of the old damper and screw it on the new ap damper element. After that mount the damper again at the vehicle. |

|

|
Insert the ap rear axle spring on the ap rear axle height adjustment which is securely bolt together with the suspension arm. |

|
|

|
Mount the tires back on to the vehicle and let the car down, off the car hoist. |
|
|

|
Before mounting the anti sway bars, make sure that the ap coilover kit has been mounted completely. |

|
|
12 |
|
Remove the torque support arm of the motor by loosen the four fixing screws. |
|
|

|
Remove the original VW steering rod. |
|
|
 |

|
|

|
Remove the steering gear by loosen the four fixing screws at the axle. |
|
|

|
Unscrew the the bolts which have fixed the axle at the auto body. |
|
|
 |
|

|
After loosing the screw, pull the axle downwards as much as possible. |
|

|
Mount the ap anti sway bars and screw it with the serial mounting brackets. |
|
|
|
17 |
|
Remove the mounting bracket of the anti sway bar and pull it aftwerwards to the back. |
|

|
|
19 |
|
Lift the front axle and complete again. |
|
|
20 |
|
Mount the ap steering rod and make sure that the brake cable is lying between the steering rods and the strut. |
|
|
 |
 |
|
|
21 |
|
Fix the brake hose into the fixing point on the strut or use a tie wrap to attach it to the strut. |
